HALO™ HOT WAX
HALO® HOT WAX chain lubricant is engineered to dramatically improve drivetrain performance over long relubrication intervals by reducing friction and wear caused by abrasive contaminants. Developed in a laboratory with state-of-the-art chemistries and field tested by leading professional teams, it excels in all riding conditions. HALO® HOT WAX is dry-to-the-touch on the chain for maximum cleanliness and delivers advanced water and rust resistance.
HALO® HOT WAX bags are specifically designed to be boiled in water to melt the wax pellets inside. The bag is reusable and contains enough wax pellets (600g) for approximately 25 chain dips. All bags include an Immersion Tool inside to make the chain dipping process easy.
FEATURES
• Low coefficient of friction
• Maximum chain cleanliness
• Advanced water resistance
• Improved drivetrain efficiency
• Ultra-low chain and component wear for extended component life
• Extreme pressure resistance for maximum power output under high torque pedaling
• Extended intervals between relubrication
• Reduced chain vibration and noise
Three elite grade ingredients deliver superior results:
HIGHLY REFINED PARAFFIN creates a robust, dry-to-the-touch coating that repels water, sheds friction-causing abrasive contaminants, and helps eliminate chain stains.
SPHERICAL TUNGSTEN features a proprietary hollow core to help reduce vibrational friction caused by high torque pedaling. Micron-size and spherical shape helps reduce sliding friction by creating a rolling effect on the surface of the chain.
CERAMIC boron nitride platelets cover the chain to form a protective non-stick coating. This ceramic coating works synergistically with spherical tungsten to substantially reduce wear and help extend the life of drivetrain components.
Eco Profile
Contains no ingredients expected to persist or bio-accumulate in the environment. Formulated without fluorinated or PFAS chemicals.
Instructions
Best Practices:
Keep maximum temperature below 220°F (104°C). Do not use oven or microwave to melt wax. Avoid exposure to open flame. Wear gloves and eyewear. If old wax needs to be stripped off chain, use boiling water to remove.
